Sunday 3rd March 2019 - Morning Worship: Peter Robertson (Testimony)
Peter Robertson shared with us his passion for prayer and healing ministry, confirming that God is still a God of miracles. Peter has seen how Jesus has affected people’s lives for good. This is God’s work and we know that He uses us to fulfil His purposes. Please pray for Peter as he meets people on the streets of Harrow and tells them of Jesus.
Sunday 10th March 2019 - 11.00am Morning Worship: James Sant
James Sant spoke on Colossians 2 v 1-7 encouraging us to persevere in our faith as Paul told the Colossian Church to do. Be rooted in the Lord, keep the faith, stand firm and continue to walk with Him so that we may grow as a Christian.
Sunday 24th March 2019 - 11.00am Morning Worship: Valerie Pritchard
Val Pritchard based her talk on the experiences of Naaman in 2 Kings chp 5. Taking as her text ’Cast your cares on the Lord because He cares for you’, 1 Peter 5 v 7. Val used the letters of the word CAST to emphasise our need of help from God. C for confession, A for acceptance, S for surrender and T for transformation. Naaman had to submit to all these actions in order to be healed of his skin disease. For Naaman, this was a humiliating experience, but God kept His promise to him. Do we admit that we need help—God’s help? Are we willing to obey God in what He asks us to do? Naaman had to submit 7 times before he was healed.
