‘I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I TRUST.’ Psalm 91 v 2
Sunday 13th January 2019 - Morning Worship: Peter Mann
Peter Mann continued our theme of trust using the example of Psalm 37 v 3; ’Trust in the Lord and do good’. If we enjoy what the Lord gives us as we commit to Him for support, He will guide us in the right direction. We need patience as we rely on His wisdom rather than our own, especially when things seem not to be going well. He can bring peace into our situation as we lean on Him.
Sunday 6th January 2019 - 1.00am Morning Worship: Kathy Williamson
Kathy Williamsons then started the new year with the thought of running a race, considering what helps and hinders us in that race. She urged us to put past regrets in the past, being reassured that forgiven sins are truly forgotten by God. Don’t be ensnared in the ’elastic band’ that Satan wants to trap us in to keep pulling us back. Move on to a future God has planned for us.
Sunday 30th December 2018 - Over 60s inspired service ‘Trusting in the Lord’
The over 60s group gave many encouraging contributions to our 'end of 2018’ service, with an emphasis on ‘Trusting in the Lord’ as a key ingredient to their experiences in life. God in creation through the singing of ‘All Things Bright and Beautiful’ through His daily faithfulness and our commitment to give our lives to Him, culminating in the hymn ‘How Great Thou Art’ summed up the service.
